She was born January 21, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, MO., to the late Glenn Hartle and Cressie Teague Wright.
On June 3, 1955 in Oran, MO., she married Jerry Shy, who survives of the home.
She loved decorating for weddings and for her church.
Survivors include: one son and one daughter-in-law, Mark and Pam Shy of Fallon, NV; one grandson, Patrick Shy of Sparks, NV. and one great grandson, Noah Shy of Sparks, NV.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Forrest Hills Cemetery in Morley, MO., with Rev. Joe McCullough, officiating.
