Born March 10, 1943 in Sikeston, MO., to the late C.J. and Lillie Russom James. He was an auctioneer and farmer until his retirement.
On October 7, 1983 in Miner, MO., he married Linda Kay Reynolds James, who survives of Sikeston, MO.
Other survivors include: three brothers, A.C. James, Cletus “Frog” James and Bill James; one sister, Bonnie Bracey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Pete James, Joe James, O.J. James and Sonny James; four sisters, Novell Milani, Maydell Thompson, Dottie Parks and Blondell Battaglia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday October 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, Bro. Steve Vester, pastor of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO., officiating. A private burial will follow.
