

James “Mac” McDaniel, age 72, of Sikeston, died December 28, 2015, at his home. Born July 14, 1943, in Sikeston, to Emogean Curtis Bell Mays, who survives of Sikeston, and the late Lorin A. McDaniel, he was the owner/operator of Mac’s Auto Repair. He was of Baptist belief. On March 3, 1962, in Sikeston, he married Doris Ann Roberts, who preceded him in death on January 6, 2012.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelley Dawn McDaniel and David Casey of Dexter and Stacey LeAnn and Tim Comstock of Dexter; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ron and Donna McDaniel of Sikeston, Tom McDaniel of White Cloud, Mich., John McDaniel of Muskegon Mich. and Nathan and Linda Mays of Sikeston; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Laurie Hazekamp of Ravenna, Mich., Carlois and Dewey Holmes of Bloomfield and Marsha and Mark Woolums of Dexter.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Christopher Powell, Zachary Comstock, Jonathan Comstock, Tim Ryan Comstock, Madelyn McDaniel and Nathan McDaniel; and three great grandchildren, Cooper Comstock, Rhealyn Comstock and Sienna McDaniel.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, with Bro. Lonny Mittag, pastor of the Friendship Baptist Church of Dexter, officiating.
Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
