

On November 12, 1945, in Sikeston, MO. she was born to the late John Sr. and Olivia McDonald Engram.
On December 28, 1966, in Sikeston, MO. she married John L. Wilson Jr., who survives of the home.
Jan worked for the South Scott County Ambulance District for 14 years as an EMT. She was an active member of the Morehouse Elementary PTO, and was a member of the Church of Christ. Jan was a very caring and loving friend and counselor to many.
In addition to her husband, John, she is also survived by her son; John “Trey” (Ashley) Wilson of Sikeston, MO.; one brother, John (Mary) Engram of Sikeston, MO.; one sister, Joann (Darrell) Nichols of Sikeston, MO.; two sons-in-law, Rick Williams and Dr. Miles Reece, one sister-in-law Penny Limbach, and five grandchildren: Mamie Williams Freed (Mark Jr.), Coleman Williams, Hayden Hess, Mattie Wilson, and John “Liam” Wilson IV.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two daughters: Machelle Williams, and Julie Reece, and one sister, Joy Whitten.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Keith Olbricht, pastor at Shady Acres Church of Christ, officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Whitten, Jason Whitten, Berry Johnson, Michael Douglas, Isaac Engram, and Eli Whitten.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Alex Whitten, Kyle Karr, Gary McDonald, Matthew King, Dr. Miles Reece, and Rick Williams.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jan Wilson, can be made to South Scott County Ambulance District 202 Lillian Drive, Sikeston, MO. or Scott County Central All Schools Foundation 20794 U.S. Highway 61, Sikeston, MO. 63801.
