Jerry Eugene Morgan

He was born on September 23, 1950 in East Prairie, MO to the late Marion “Bud” and Catherine Williford Morgan.

On July 21, 1970 in Matthews, MO he married Lois Ann Rhodes Morgan who preceded him in death.

He was of Baptist faith. Jerry served in the United States Navy from June 1969 to June 1975; he was a retired truck driver. He loved life, he had a great sense of humor and he really loved his granddaughters.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlette (Jody) Vanover and Brandy (Rodney) Manning all of Sikeston, MO; three grandchildren, Mary Katherine Gilmore, Hannah Manning and Madalyn Manning all of Sikeston, MO and one brother, Dale (Glenda) Morgan of Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Danny Kuykendall, officiating.

Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO with military honors.

Pallbearers will be Mark Marrs, Olin “Dink” Boes, Barry Morgan II, J. Tim Hill, Chad Ledbetter and Brett Shelby Ellis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Morgan, Steve Plunk, Bobby Kestner and Danny Bell.
