He was born on January 3, 1936 in Ristine, MO. to the late Louie and Hazel Chapel Shy.
On June 3, 1955 in Oran, MO. he married Glenna Faye Teague Shy who preceded him in death on December 4, 2020.
He was a barber and hair stylist for over fifty years in the Sikeston, MO. community.
He is survived by one son, Mark (Pam) Shy of Sparks, NV.; one grandson, Patrick (Crystal) Shy of Sparks, NV. and one great-grandson, Noah Shy of Sparks, NV.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, MO. with Rev. Joe McCullough, officiating.
