He was born on July 15, 1942 in Sikeston, MO. to the late Homer and Pauline Sorrell Decker.
He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter, MO.; he was a retired agriculture pilot.
He is survived by one son, Todd Decker of Dexter, MO.; one daughter, Chelsie (Brett) Cardin of Cape Girardeau, MO.; one sister, Elaine Rennier of St. Charles County, MO.; two grandchildren, Ethan and Bella Cardin of Cape Girardeau, MO. and two nephews, Greg Rennier and Steve Rennier of St. Charles County, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, La Vonna Decker.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
