Kevin Boardman

He was born on December 8, 1957, in Sikeston, MO to the late Harold and Carletta Jones Boardman.

On April 12, 2003, in Sikeston, MO he married Cathy Holden Boardman who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

Kevin retired from the Missouri Department of Corrections where he served as a Corrections Officer.

After his retirement, Kevin had the best job of all being a pawpaw to the many wonderful grandchildren, they were the apple of his eye. He also was a member of the Break Time Coffee Club.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Thomas Michael Boardman of Benton, MO, Justin Tyler Boardman (Brynna Downing) of Sikeston, MO and Matthew (Mistie) Smith of Benton, MO; one daughter Jenalei (Cody) Aldrich of Sikeston; one sister Brenda (Phil) Winters of Sikeston, MO and twelve beautiful grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Mike and Marc Boardman.

Kevin was known for his love and generosity. That being said, he gave the most precious gift of all. He was an organ donor and was able to give the gift of life to many through his donation.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Unity Baptist Church in Benton, MO. from 12:00 noon until time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Gracie’s College Fund in memory of Kevin.
