Paul Luber

Paul C. Luber died on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center. He was the son of the late Lawrence B. Luber and Beulah F. Luber. He was born on May 10, 1950, in Sikeston, Missouri. He attended St. Francis Xavier grade school.He graduated from Sikeston High School in 1968. He was employed by the Dept. of Correction in Charleston, Missouri. He attained the rank of Lieutenant. He retired in 2015.

On the 25th of July,1986, he married Fredie Dean. She passed away on December 10, 2021. He is survived by a stepson, Todd Sterling (Kimberly). His brother's Larry B. Luber and Charles B Luber predeceased him. He is survived by three brothers, retired Judge Byron D. Luber (Nancy), Gregg Luber (Sherryl), and Thomas J. Luber. He leaves several nephews and one great niece.

He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 5pm until 7 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston with Father Colby Elbert officiating.

Burial will take place at the Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Missouri on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
