Raymond Harris

He was born in Oran, MO., on February 22, 1924, to the late Frank and Laura Harris.

On August 8, 1997 in Sikeston, MO., he married Reva Cooksey Harris, who preceded him in death on July 1, 2019.

He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: Three daughters and one son-in-law, Billie Baker of Benton, MO., Linda Hyde of Cape Girardeau, MO., Delores and Robert Koch of Cape Girardeau, MO.; one step daughter, Sharon Washer of Benton, MO.; one son, six step sons, 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one step son, Timothy Turner; one daughter, Betty Hency; three grandchildren, Billie Chapman, Rebecca Davis and Aleshya Hency; and seven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday November 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., with Rev. Dennis Lowe, officiating.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories in Sikeston, MO.
