She was born on October 14, 1938, in Vanduser, MO. She was the loving daughter of the late Clarence “Jack” and Ruby Mae Dial Tubbs. She loved her parents and siblings unconditionally, always speaking highly of them as she shared their stories and memories. She had two daughters that she loved dearly. As her daughters grew older, they blessed her with five grandchildren that quickly became the center of her world. She supported, loved, and cherished them all and would not have had it any other way. She was immensely proud of her grandchildren and the people they came to be. She was always their biggest and loudest cheerleader as they grew up whether it be with sports or school. She never lacked showing how proud she was, even as her grandchildren grew into their careers as adults. She was then later blessed with three little girls, her great grandchildren, that she had the privilege of loving so dearly, as they loved her just as much.
She loved to spend time doing things like playing bingo, playing with her little puppies, and listening to music from the greats like Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette. She loved to watch basketball, racing, and anything else to do with her grandkids. Her greatest past time of all was just simply spending time with her family. There was not a stranger that she could not talk to. She could easily light up a room with her blue eyes, smile, and laugh. Her personality and sense of humor were infectious. She could make anyone smile. She was loved and adored by everyone whose paths she crossed, being known as a selfless, genuine, and caring person. She loved all people for who they truly were, seeing the good in everyone, and would do anything for anyone no matter what. She was truly a special person.
The love she has shared and shown us will forever be engrained in our hearts. We will continue to spread that love like she has always done and taught us, in honor of her. Her memories will live on through the love she has instilled in us and through the adoring admiration that we have for her. She will be greatly missed and will forever be a treasure in our hearts.
She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Yant of Pevely, MO., and Tina (Scott Jones) Wright of Oran, MO; one sister, Malinda Johnson of Sikeston, MO; four grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Adams, Joshua Wright, Jonathen Yant and JoBeth Wright; three great-grandchildren, Hadley, Harper, and Hazel Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford “Sonny” Tubbs, and Robert Earl Tubbs; one sister, Bertha Mae Shackles and one grandson, Jacob Yant.
