Shirley Kasting

She was born on June 28, 1941, in Sikeston, MO to the late Hershel and Virginia Darter Tanner.

On February 25, 1961, in Sikeston, MO she married Robert “Bob” Kasting who preceded her in death on July 5, 2017.

She was the Nursing Liaison at Three Rivers College until she retired.

She is survived by one daughter, Shelia (Keith) Wynn of Tallahassee, FL; two sons, Chuck (Kelly) Kasting of Dexter, MO and Bill (Deborah) Kasting of Scott City, MO; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Tanner.

Vitiation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO with Charles Woodard, officiating.

Internment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery In Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Corey McNew, Todd Rose, Dawson Kasting, Blake Cox, Thomas Houle and Bentley Cox.
