Tammy Jill Thompson, 48 of Sikeston, died September 16, 2011 at her home. She was born September 14, 1963, in Naples FL and was adopted by Tom and Laverne Dancer Godwin who survive. She had worked as a store manager for 7-11 Convenience Stores. She was a member of the New Life Apostolic Church in Bertrand MO.
Other survivors include two brothers, Sam Godwin of Cape Girardeau and Rev. Richard Dixon of Dexter and two sisters, Sarah Ruedrich of Chaffee and Brenda Taylor of Benton.
Visitation will be at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30am in the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with the with Rev. Tom Godwin pastor of the New Life Apostolic Church of Bertrand officiating. Pallbearers will be Rev. Richard Dixon, Sam Godwin, Johnny Ruedrich, Josh Ruedrich, Rev. Ken Allen and Paul Britt.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
