Tony Burns

Tony Allen Burns, 30, of Sikeston, died May 4, 2015, at his home. Born October 30, 1984, in Sikeston, to Mark and Lisa Dozier Burns, who survive of Sikeston, he was a self-employed construction worker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Brice Andrew Burns of Sikeston; and his maternal grandparents, Jesse Dozier of Sikeston and Sue Dozier James of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Charlene Burns, and his aunt, Becky Burns.

Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 11, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Rev. Robert Garces will officiate, assisted by Pastor Curtis True of Church on the Rock.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Ashcraft, Chris Strader, Josh Hunter, Ryan Anderson, Doug Reeves and Will Dozier. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Ashcraft, Doug Kitchen and B.J. Burns.
