Velma Roberts

Born August 12, 1931, in Laforge, MO., to the late Austin and Margaret Helms Dunn.

On October 13, 1957 in Essex, MO., she married Cecil C. Roberts, who preceded her in death on February 13, 1984.

She was a proud member of the Eagles and the American Legion in Sikeston, MO.

Survivors include: four sons and one daughter-in-law, Duane Harris of Sikeston, MO., Gary Dunn of Sikeston, MO., Kevin Roberts of Lamar, MO., and Kenneth and Teresa Roberts of Sikeston, MO.; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Donna and Wayne Turpin of St. Louis, MO., Earlene and Steve Gill of St. Louis, MO., and Shirley and Jerry Davis of Kimberling City, MO.; two brothers, Kenneth Dunn of Greenville, IN., and Everette Dunn of Muncie, IN.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: one sister, Wilma Bizzell.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, in Sikeston, MO., with Bro. Rick Hensley, pastor of Abundant Life Family Church in Farmington, MO., officiating. Interment will follow at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, MO.
