William Don Griffin

He was born on August 3, 1944 in Vanduser, MO to the late Norman and Lela (Haire) Griffin.

Bill was a 20 year retired Veteran of the United States Air force.

Survivors include one sister, Linda Heller of Jefferson City; one son, Joshua Griffin; two nephews and three nieces, Jon Baitlon (Sunny) of Alexandria, VA, Kent Heller (Heather) of Hazelwood, MO, Julie Baitlon Porco (Don) of Salida, CO, Jeanna Baitlon Myers (Tommy) of Salida, CO and Christy Heller Siebeneck (Rob) of Jefferson City, MO. Special cousins Bud Griffin of Sikeston, MO, Barb Sherriff of Kingsland, TX and many more. Special friends Semona Penrod, Janet Penrod, Annette Meloy and Courtney Cox. Two special boys Ashton and Carson Penrod that called him Papa Bill.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Lela (Haire) Griffin; step mother, Margaret Claire Griffin; sister, Yvonne Griffin Baitlon (Dr Domingo); maternal grandparents John and Laura Haire and paternal grandparents W.J. and Cordia Griffin.

Interment will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
