Anne M. Bucher

Anne Marie Bucher passed away peacefully surrounded by family and love after a long battle with dementia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter E. Bucher and is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Edmondo) Beedenbender, son-in-law Mark Beedenbender and her son - Peter A Edmondo. She is remembered fondly by her four grandchildren Zachary, Annie, Emma and Sarah Beedenbender who will miss their many field trips and adventures with Nana. Anne is also fondly remembered by all of her "Kenney' family nephews and nieces.

Anne was a master florist and landscape designer, served as a longtime volunteer for the National Federation of Garden Clubs, the National Arboretum and several of the boards involved for these organizations; member of the landscape design council, master Flower Show judge, emeritus member for the Judges Council throughout the MD/VA area and a tireless advocate for the national garden club organization. Anne also served the Sandy Spring Lions Club , the women's board of Montgomery General Hospital, friends of the Olney Theatre and loved her Neighbors meetings and Wednesday club fellowships.

Anne Bucher's family welcomes all for a viewing at Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home on Thursday 3 November from 5:00 to 8:00pm- 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904

A celebration of Anne's life will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church at 11:00 am on Friday 4 November followed by a luncheon reception in the parish hall. Our Lady of Grace Church @15663 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906

Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private/ family only at a later part in the day.

Flowers were Anne's absolute joy. Memorial flowers will be accepted at Hines Rinaldi for her viewing and funeral. Donations in Anne's memory can be made to the National Federation of Garden Clubs, the National Arboretum or the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
