Anthony Joseph Sparacino was born at Georgetown Hospital weighing in at 3 pounds 15 ounces. He was only supposed to live to be one-year-old, but outsmarted all of us and lived to be 28. He was the happiest person you will ever meet. He loved singing, dancing, watching movies, and going on walks. Some of his favorite television shows were Golden Girls, Sesame Street, and watching Redskins games with the family. He also loved the Ocean City board walk and beach, the mall, and don’t forget he was the ultimate ladies man (haha). Anthony attended Stephen Knowles from 1992 to 2008 where he made tons of friends. After graduating from there he went to Community Options which was run by Catholic Charities. Harriet Carmichael was his nurse/second mom for 16 long years. She did everything a mother would do for her child, ranging from waking him up everyday to send him to school, taking him to the mall, singing to him while she brushed his teeth, or even fist fighting with him to feed him his breakfast (haha). Another person who was a key factor in his life was Analise LaHood aka Cubby, who opened up her home to underprivileged special needs families. Cubby was a saint; she hosted holiday events and even had an after school program for the kids. Last, but not least Angelina “Mamas” Sparacino-Nugent and Paul Nugent. These were Anthony’s grandparents who loved him more than life itself and cared for him for many years. Anthony will be missed dearly by his mother (Rita Sparacino), brother (Nicholas Sparacino), aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
