Aspasia P. Martinis, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, at the age of 84.
Affectionately known as “Asia” and “Yiayia” to her family and friends, she was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Paul Martinis, and together they began their journey, eventually settling in the United States, where they built a beautiful life and a loving family.
Asia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Martinis, in 2010. She is survived by her devoted children, Meropy (“Mary”) and George; her cherished grandchildren, Nikki, Stephanie, Bradley, and Melanie; and her adored great-grandchildren, Myles and Conway.
She is also survived by her siblings, Paula, Jimmy, and George. Her children wish to extend their deepest gratitude to her brother George for his unwavering love, care, and constant presence by her side.
Asia leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
