Beth Weyman Frome

On Sunday, June 4, 2023, 81 year resident of Washington, DC; Potomac, MD; and Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Morton Joseph Frome. Devoted mother of Lisa Frome Uscanga, Pamela (Sotorn Muangmanee) Frome, Jonathan (Tingting Li) Frome; cherished grandmother of Tristan and Logan Uscanga and Maxwell and Samuel Frome; beloved sister of Alan (Barbara) Weyman; and sister-in-law of David (Kathryn) Frome and Francine Frome.

Beth met her husband, Mort, in a Young Judea youth group during high school. She earned a degree in Education from George Washington University. Beth loved children. She was devoted to her own children and was an elementary and pre-school teacher for many years. She passed her passion for reading onto her children, and she loved family vacations at the beach. She was welcoming to visitors and made them feel at home.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 1:00 pm at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA.

Family will be receiving friends and observing shiva at 2805 Fountain Grove Terrace, Olney, MD starting immediately following the funeral. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (https://www.alz.org).
