My son and I sobbed together when we heard the news. In all his years of schooling, Mr. Madoo is the *only* teacher he would come home and talk about. 

Our deepest sympathy to the family and all who loved him. May his memory be eternal.

I will alway think of Christian standing beside his beautiful Mother in the side yard. He was such a sweet boy and I can see from all the  comments that he grew into an exceptional young man.  I am so sorry for your loss.

We had some great times and made some great memories. Christian knew how to light up a room with his charm and smile! We will miss him so much but his smiles and hugs are always with us. Sending prayers to the entire Madoo family

As I reflect over the times I spent with Christian since 6th grade, it brings smiles to my face. I was very saddened to hear about Christian.  I had the pleasure of growing up with him from Greenwood Elementary all the way to Howard University.  I have pleasant memories and he will be greatly missed.  My deepest condolences go out to the family.

Our hearts are extremely heavy as we deal with the loss of such a kind, loving soul that we considered our brother. He always had words of wisdom and advice. We feel blessed to have you had you in our lives for the past 17+ years. Buddy, we will cherish all the fond memories, gathered from all stages of our lives, and keep you in our hearts forever. In the words of our daughter, I love Tio Chrisitan, he makes me happy. Well stated.

Waking up everyday realizing that my uncle is no longer here with us is very awkward. I am at a total lost for words. Growing up being the only niece I was spoiled and he was one of the reasons why. He was the coolest down to earth person you would ever meet. All the years I have spent with him are now just memories and I will cherish every moment. I love you and I miss you from your one and only niece.

Correction for entry on 6/16/15. The loss of a loved one turns your life upside down. Your world as you knew it has changed and those changes require that you in turn adjust to a new normal.

I only met Christian a handful of times when he coached my son for 2 years at RFMS.  However, my son would often talk about his favorite teacher, Mr. Madoo, what a funny and great guy he was and what great advice he would always give him...even about girls! I felt immense sadness when I learned of his passing.  My heart goes out to his family and I want to say a heartfelt thank you for all the years of wonderful influence he had on many kids, my son included.

I met Christian when I coached the girls at Frost middle school. We often scrimmaged each other's team. The last time I saw Christian was this past spring when I officiated his boys team play a come from behind win against a tough opponent..  Always a smiling face, always a helping hand.. I will meet you someday in the soccer fields of our lord..  Keep on playing Christian..

I feel blessed to have known Christian...a beautiful soul. Sending love and prayers of comfort to his family.

So sad to hear about this tremendous loss.  Have been thinking about Christian all week; remembering that smile and that soft voice.  He was the gentle giant on the soccer field with a quiet confidence and heart of a champion.  So happy to hear that Christian got to make an impact with young kids, that was his dream and passion.  I will miss you and my thoughts  are with his wonderful family.

I remember you for your serene countenance, and although we did not have the opportunity to share a lot, my impression of you was that of a gentle, kind soul. Dear Uncle Robert take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

I am sadden by the lost of Christian I valued our Conversations He always made it easy to talk with him. My thoughts are with you Troy and the family.

I had the pleasure of knowing Christian since High School. He has always been such a good friend that I consider him a member of my family. We were roommates when he attended Howard University and through his first few years of teaching. While friends may come and go, I have been lucky to have stayed in touch with him for years. I'm so glad to have known him and that he had the opportunity to continue to be there as I started my new family. The memories will stay strong. You will be missed, Christian Madoo.

Very sorry to hear of this terrible loss.  Did not know the man well, but did play soccer against him.  He was quite the player, and that is the way I will always remember him, victorious on the soccer field, at the apex, living life to the fullest.  My deepest condolences to the family.
