Died peacefully Wednesday. May 16, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Dan was born July 15, 1941 in Washington, DC and lived his entire life in Washington and Maryland. He attended Bladensburg High School and Ben Franklin School of accounting. On April 21, 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Diana Stevens Falk, who predeceased him on February 28, 1999. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Natalie Munson Falk; daughter, Dara Falk Castle; son, Darren Geoffrey Falk; four grandsons, Wyatt, Wesley, Danny and Patrick; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Elaine Falk; and step-sons, Ryan and Tim.
He was passionately devoted to caring for his loved ones and did so by creating a successful career. He was a CPA who, after working for private firms established his own accounting firm, Daniel G. Falk and Associates. Subsequently he branched out into investment and wealth management. His conscientious care for his clients earned him their steadfast loyalty and many of them became lifelong friends.
In his leisure time, Dan loved to play golf, which he did at Manor Country Club. He also loved to travel and he visited most of the U.S., as well many countries in Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico, El Salvador, and Australia.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dan’s life on Tuesday, May 22, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD from 3:00 to 5:00 or at Manor Country Club, 14901 Carrolton Road, Rockville, MD from 6:30 to 8:30. A Memorial Service will be held at Colesville Presbyterian Church, 12800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD at 10:30 am on Wednesday May 23. The service will be immediately followed by a private interment at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his memory to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
