On June 7, 2018, David M. Libonate, Sr., of Glen Burnie, MD. Beloved husband of Brooke Libonate; adored son of Carol Peters and son-in-law of Lynne Kentfield; loving father of David Libonate, Jr. and wife Julie, Alicia Libonate, Joseph Kentfield and wife Jennifer, Rev. Douglas Massey III, Michael Massey and fiance Emily and Katherine Massey; dear brother of Anthony Libonate, Jr. and wife Colleen, Stephen Libonate and wife Karen, Maria Siebert and husband Mike, Joey Finn and wife Joan, Scott Finn, Brian Libonate and wife Katherine and Tanya Phelps and husband Noel; cherished grandfather of Caroline, Dominic, Justin, Wyatt, Gabe and Norah. He is also survived many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Anthony Libonate, Sr.; step fathers, Joe Finn and Tom Peters; step mother, Ursula Libonate and brother, Tony Finn. David was born on November 12, 1962, six weeks early at Womens Hospital in Baltimore He graduated Perry Hall High School in 1982 and was in the US Air Force for six years. David loved to cook, read, the Orioles, Ravens and Terps. He loved wood working and spending time by the fire. He loved his family and would always be available to lend a hand when ever needed. He worked for McGuire, Inc. for 23 years and loved his job as a concrete construction finisher. He loved to go back to job sites to see the finished project. David loved sun rises and sun sets and he thanked God every morning for another day. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13th from 4 to 8 PM at the Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, LLC, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14th at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.
