I worked with Donald at Montgomery Hospice for many years. He started as a full-time receptionist and later transitioned to working part-time. You knew his presence because of his deep, bold voice that was full of laughter. He was a non-sense person and took pride in his job. He was a true Redskin fan, and it showed with the various Redskins jackets he would wear. Donald loved his family and doing the work needed in his church. He would tell you when he was busy with his family or church. 
I pray for peace while celebrating Donld's homegoing and the many days to come.

I knew Donald when he worked at Montgomery Hospice. He was affable, always kind, dignified and provided a steady presence when people entered the office.  He told amazing stories about being at the Pentagon on 9/11.  We sometimes chatted on Facebook.  I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I'll never forget him.   Eileen Tansill

With a tear in my eye today, I remember Don's joyful laugh and love for his Redskins but above all he was extremely proud of his family!  Always willing to share a story and give wise words of wisdom.  It was my pleasure to work with Don at Montgomery Hospice.  May his family have peace during this time of mourning. 

I have fond memories of working with Don at Montgomery Hospice and am thankful to have worked with him for almost ten years. He knew how to keep a level head even when facing all the extremes and tough situations that came his way in his job.

I send prayers of healing and positive vibes to Don's family and to everyone missing him.

I worked with Donald at Montgomery Hospice for many years.  He was a delight.  He was focused on his work but also very engaged with the staff and knew who everyone was.  I knew him to have a great sense of humor, a deep and joyful laugh, respect for others and pride in his job.  We all missed him when he retired and will continue to hold dear the memories that we have of him.
