I first met Donna when i applied for a job at WAH in 1988. I had no idea what telemetry was. I saw the job and applied. I remember the interview. I told her honestly i have no idea what telemetry is about. 
"You can learn" her gentle words of encouragement. She has that gentle but encouraging voice.  As the bible tells "slow to anger " that was Donna for me. I remember her support when my nephew died. She was ready to give me time off. I remember telling her i needed to work until it was time for me to attend the funural. I told her if i don't, i would g crazy just waiting. Her gentle soothing words. I remember when i became one of her assistant nurse managers, her confidence in my ability made a world of difference.  Donna, you were an Angel to us on 5100. I am so sorry to learn of Donna's far too early passing! She was two years ahead of me in the nursing program at CUC (her sister Linda was a classmate) and she was an incredible role model. Her self-confidence, clinical excellence and encouragement to ALL who met her were exemplary. I worked at Washington Adventist Hospital after graduation and all those remarkable traits that Donna demonstrated in college were multiplied many times over. I knew I could ask her anything and she willingly shared her expertise and advice. The world has lost an amazing woman, but we can all rejoice knowing that that she is simply waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sorry to hear of her loss.  A lovely person who always had a beautiful smile at church.  Waiting for the return of our Saviour to see her again.  God bless each family member.

I have fond memories of Donna, and Carolyn. I enjoyed attending "Simply The Bible" classes at Spencerville.  Donna was a friendly and kind soul. Always felt welcome sitting beside them in Church.  Rest In Peace.

We were all so very saddened here at Mike and Barry's Deli to learn about Donna's death. She was always so sweet, interesting & caring. Our thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn, Linda and the entire Arnold family. She will be missed.  Jeri,Barry,Mike & Danny.

Donna was my manager for over twenty five years and taught me more about compassion and professionalism than anyone else in my career.   I thank God for placing her in my life.  She was the best!!!  It broke my heart when I heard of her passing.  Such a beautiful soul who’s no longer with us.  Rest in Heavenly peace Donna.  I pray we will meet again.

When I returned to Washington Adventist Hospital and joined the Education Department, Donna (now a Clinical Nurse Specialist), was a key resource to me as I transitioned into the role of Education Specialist.  Our team grew in number, and had the privilege of helping the hospital staff transition to the new White Oak Medical Center. Pictured here is Nancy Hughes (Education Department Director), myself, Lorenzo Amato, Shirley Harry and Donna.

Donna lead by example.  She was a tough act to follow! Her commitment to the hospital, patients and her team was unwavering.
Donna lead the Clinical Practice Council for many years, and was an authority on the correct policies and procedures that governed our practice. She not only did things "by the book", she often was the one that wrote the book.

Donna after she was promoted to Head Nurse of the ICU. She took this leadership role seriously, and was a source of knowledge and support to those she managed.

Donna graduated from Columbia Union College School of Nursing a year before me. We both worked as new graduates in  Washington Adventist Hospital's Intensive Care Unit. Thank you Donna for caring for my father when he was recovering from major surgery.
