George L. Bezantakos

George L. Bezantakos of Silver Spring, MD passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was the beloved son of the late Louis and Bessie Bezantakos; loving brother of Joy Elizabeth (and John) Binford; cherished uncle of Victoria Elizabeth Binford; and nephew of John (Kiki) Courtis, along with numerous close and loving cousins and their children – his nieces and nephews. George also leaves many good and caring friends, many lifelong, and many new, all of whom he held near to his heart.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD from 5 PM - 8 PM, with Trisagion at 6 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 721 Norwood Road, Silver Spring, MD at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church of Washington, DC.
