Dr. H. Lyndon Marter

On December 9, 2024, Dr. H. Lyndon Marter, M.B., CH.B., FACS, age 86, passed away in his home in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, and respected surgeon; pre-deceased by his wife, Nancy. He is survived by his life partner, two sons and one daughter, seven grandchildren, one great grandson and a host of family and friends that he loved and mentored. He lived life on his terms, always caring for others.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of H. Lyndon Marter will be held at the Capital Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 3:00pm Eastern Time on Saturday, January 25, 2025. A light repast will be served in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately after the service.
