On Sunday, December 2, 2018, James Fletcher Shook, Jr., of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Bernice Harris Shook and the late, Evelyn Renner Shook. Father of Cecilia A. Suser (Stanley), Douglas J. Shook, Sr., (Claudia) and Deborah E. Combest (Henry). Step-father of Chrishana C. Cash and Michelle S. Harris. Brother of William L. Shook (Rosella). Also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on, Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, where funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon. Interment at a later date at Church of Our Saviour (Episcopal) Memorial Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riderwood Benevolent Care Fund.
