On Thursday, January 20, 2022, JEAN R. FRAME, AGE 88, of Silver Spring, MD, died at home in the company of loved ones. Born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of Elnora (Scott) Russell and Robert Paul “Pete” Russell of Wilmington, DE. Mrs. Frame was predeceased by her husband Clyde D. Frame, and her step-daughter Mrs. Cheryl Klein of Louisiana. She is survived by three sons, Russell H. Rushton of Gaithersburg, MD, Brett M. Rushton and his wife Rosalia, of Silver Spring, MD, Thomas E. Rushton of Silver Spring; stepchildren Dr. William Frame and his wife, Lorie of Illinois, Teri Frame of Silver Spring; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Frame was the first woman in her family to receive post high school education in business administration and worked as a government contract administrator for Oracle Corporation. Mrs. Frame was an avid gardener, and applied her artistic talents to painting, calligraphy, ceramics (with her dear friend Mrs. Gertrude Milligan of Silver Spring), music, making wedding cakes, and refurbishing antiques. Mrs. Frame loved extending hospitality to family, friends and neighbors, and was an excellent cook and baker. Mrs. Frame loved to travel internationally and immersing herself in the local cultures. Mrs. Frame will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
A visitation for Jean will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A funeral service will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. A burial will occur Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland 20853.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Jean's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
