CHECCHI, JOSEPHINE A. (Age 91) Josephine A. Checchi, of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 9, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Checchi; loving mother of Alfred Checchi (Kathy), Anne Marie Checchi, Lisa Ross (Dan) and the late Joanne Checchi; cherished grandmother of six and great-grandmother of seven. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Rd. Silver Spring, MD 20904. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a children's charity of one's choice. Arrangements entrusted to Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc.
