On Saturday, January 31, 2015, George Robertson of Washington, DC. WWII veteran, former National Security Council intelligence analyst; beloved husband of Lydia E.J. Robertson; father of Karl I. Robertson, Mark A. Robertson and the late Walter Emil Robertson; grandfather of April, Brian, Christina, Dominique, Glenn, Jared, Joelle, Theresa and Venus; great grandfather of 16; great-great grandfather of two; brother of Claudine (Roy) Crarey, Dorothy (the late Donald) Byles, Helen Cooks, Janice Funderburk and Ella Robertson-Strother; father-in-law of Donna Jackson Robertson and Ethel Robertson. Also survived by his first cousin Elaine Barnaby and her family. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February, 10, 2015 at The Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, 1725 Rhode Island Avenue, NW, Washington, DC at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
