

Lennea Jeanne Tinker of Glen Burnie, MD died peacefully Friday, January 6, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She had suffered a lengthy period of debilitating chronic pain primarily resulting from several spinal surgeries. Born in Washington, DC, March 3, 1948, to Mildred and Merrill Geagley, Lennea graduated from Wheaton High School in 1966 and was a former Washington Redskinette Cheerleader. She served many years as office manager for the Joint Economic Committee in the US Senate.
Lennea is survived by her son, Richard Tinker, her daughter-in-law, Terri, and two granddaughters, Alison and Morgan. She is also survived by her twin sister Vivian Cross (Gary), brother Ronald P. Geagley, and sister Sandra Reed (Vernon) and many nieces and nephews.
Gathering with family and friends will be held 2:00 – 3:00pm Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20904, immediately followed by a memorial service. Private interment to occur at a later date. Donations may be made to a charity of choice in lieu of flowers.
