Linda Hoffman

Linda passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. Linda was born on July 16, 1961 in Washington Heights, New York. She was married to Jeff Hoffman for 42 years after meeting in their junior year at the University of Albany. Linda is survived by Jeff, their two sons Jason and Dan, Cousin Elissa, Aunt Gila and her faithful crazy terrier mix Casey.

She had deep friendships with caring and supportive friends, many of whom she met as an educator in the Montgomery County Public School system.

Linda battled breast cancer twice, having been re-diagnosed in 2023. Those who knew her will remember her fierce loyalty, her deep love for family, her snarky sense of humor, and her refreshing candor. Linda was a lifelong reader, delighting in frequent visits to the library and her book club. She loved going to the movies and always mentioned how good the popcorn smelled. She took great joy in riding her bike to the beach to take in Hilton Head sunsets.

Family and friends will look for signs of her at the beach, in nature, and at their favorite restaurants. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
