

Marilyn Ann Levi Littlejohn, 93, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1933, in Richmond, Virginia, to William Randolph Levi and Beatrice Rowlett Levi.
Marilyn completed her secondary education at Armstrong High School and subsequently pursued higher studies at Howard University, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Social Work. During her time at Howard, she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She dedicated her career to serving others as a Social Work Supervisor at D.C. General Hospital’s Crippled Children’s Clinic.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Roy Littlejohn. She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Valaida Littlejohn Wise (Henry A. Wise) and Robin Littlejohn Marshall (Charles W. Marshall); grandchildren, Michael C. Wise (Megan), Talyn K. Wise (Katherine), and Jordan E. Wise; great-grandchildren, Ella Dawn Wise and Essa Charlotte Wise; bonus grandchildren, Akura Rosa Smith (Navon) and Taneka Nachette Marshall; bonus great-grandchildren, Tamara Ninti Smith, Kyra Natori Smith, Daniel Robert Schell and Colton Andrew Schell ; a sister-in-law, Jessie Mae Littlejohn and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Known for her grace, warmth, and joyful spirit, Marilyn was a constant source of encouragement to all who knew her. Her family will always remember her loving words, “I love you more than you will ever know.”
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at The Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 S. Leisure World Blvd., Silver Spring, MD 20906. A repast will follow immediately at the Clubhouse 1 Crystal Ballroom in Leisure World.
