She is preceded in death by her brother; Andrew. She is survived by her sons Mark Summer (Bonnie) and David Summer (Beverly); Foster children George Smith and Connie Deutsch; Sister-in-law, Jane Cooper; Grandchildren Scott (Jessica), Colby(April) and Kyle(Brianna); Great-Grandchildren Anna, Evelyn, Cash, Oakley, Colton, Ryder and Reese.
A worship service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 11612 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, Maryland 20904 at 10am. Followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial service at 11am and a luncheon immediately to follow.
