Moy Gim Gee Wong went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 13, 2014. A long-time resident of Washington, DC and Potomac MD, she was married to the late Him Wah Wong. Besides supporting her husband in his business endeavors, she was a skilled seamstress. Surviving are her children, Marion Wong-Halwick (late Thomas Halwick), David (Linda), James (Helen) and Jennings (Rita); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home, 11800 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904 on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 6 – 8 pm and on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 1 -2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm. Committal service is on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 12:30 pm at Washington National Cemetery, 4101 Suitland Rd, Suitland, MD 20746 preceded by a Prayer Service at Hines Rinaldi at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to Chinese Community Church, 500 I Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001.
