Robert "Bob" Jerry Burdett

Born in Washington, DC, on April 27, 1951, Bob was a lifelong resident of Silver Spring, MD, where he attended St. Bernadette Catholic School and Montgomery Blair High School.

In 1971, Bob joined American Amplifier and TV Corporation, starting as a technician, and eventually heading the sales department. After a successful decade in sales, Bob transitioned once again to becoming majority owner and president in 1994 before eventually retiring at the end of 2015.

Bob had many passions in life: his family (especially his grandchildren), animals (especially cats), the beach, food (both cooking and eating), music, technology, and stocks.

Bob is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Kristine; children Justin Burdett and Neilly Milne (Jeremy); and two grandchildren, Julia and Benjamin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reginald and Helen Louise Smith Burdett and siblings, James Burdett and Linda Lantz.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
