Werner "Bud" Strauss, Born April 8, 1931 in Darmstadt, Germany, Died April 23, 2014.

Emigrated to USA in 1937. 50 year resident of Morton Grove. Devoted husband of 55 years to Carol. Loving father of Vicki (Eric) Strauss, Nancy Strauss-Kelly and Bob (Leslie) Strauss. Proud grandfather of Jessica and Joe Strauss, Jack and Sara Kelly and Anna and Erin Strauss. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. He guided many as a career counselor and recruiter. He suffered as a life-long, diehard Cubs fan, was an avid golfer, and a passionate reader. As a graduate of Lake View High School, he enthusiastically participated in the Lake View Alumni Association later in his life. Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 28 at 10:30 am at The Piser Chapel 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church Street) Skokie, IL. Interment Jewish Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
