

He was born November 19, 1975 in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, the son of Lamont H. Flanders Sr and Carrol (Davis) Thompson.
Chad was educated in the Athens and Madison Schools.
He worked for Maine Wood Pellet Company in Athens as a supervisor of the wood yard for the last six years.
He loved his Chevy’s, driving fast, and loved tinkering on things. He also enjoyed wheeling and dealing and he especially loved to have a good time and the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his fiancé Michelle “Susie” Whalen of Athens, and their two children; Jeffrey Arlit Jr. and his fiancé Ashley Burgess of Malden, MA, and their son Jeffrey Arlit III, Cortney Arlit of Athens; his mother Carrol Thompson and her husband Bob of N. Anson, his father Lamont Flanders Sr. and wife Joyce of Dexter, two brothers; Robbie Flanders of Maine, Lamont Flanders Jr. of Athens, one sister Dawn Tuttle and husband Mark of Skowhegan, several aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews and very close and dear close cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be at the Athens Grange Hall, Main St., Athens, Maine, on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 2 p.m.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave. Skowhegan, Maine.
