

He was born July 3, 1993 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Daniel Sr. and Melissa (James) Pomerleau.
He attended Skowhegan Area High School and would have graduated with his fellow classmates this year. He planned to attend Washington County Technical College focusing on being a diesel technician.
Daniel was employed by Randy’s Auto, in Skowhegan which was considered his second family.
Daniel was a happy and kind young man who had a huge heart and put others first, he never said no. He enjoyed spending time with his family and teasing his little sister Marysa. Daniel and Marysa shared a special bond unlike not other. Daniel also had a special relationship with his aunt RayLynn and Uncle Sean, who had a vast influence on Daniel growing up. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, four wheeling (the more mud the better), hunting, camping, his motto for a loud exhaust was “if it’s not loud, it’s not nice”, football and he was also a cell phone junky.
He is survived by his parents Daniel Pomerleau Sr. of Norridgewock and his mother Melissa Pomerleau of Augusta, his sister Marysa Pomerleau “he was the best brother anyone could ever ask for “of Norridgewock, his maternal grandparents David and Linda Drake of Cornville, his paternal grandfather Brian Pomerleau of Skowhegan, aunts and uncles; Sean and RayLynn Bruce of Anson, Jesse and Brenda James of East Newport, Michelle Penn of Orange Park, Florida, Sheila Gunther of Madison, Lisa Miller of Skowhegan, Brian and Candi Pomerleau of Skowhegan and several cousins.
Daniel held a special place in his heart for Mike Bruce and considered him as an older brother. He will be sadly missed by the Bruce family, Randy, Vanessa, Mike, Jessica, Samantha, Michelle and Lexus Bruce. He will also be sadly missed by his best friend Zachariah Daigle and the employees of Randy’s Auto
Daniel was predeceased by his grandmother Nancy Pomerleau and Uncle Larry Gunther.
Viewing hours will be held on Friday October 15, 2010 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Ave., Skowhegan, Maine, with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Mark Tanner officiating, burial to follow at Southside Cemetery in Skowhegan, Maine.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
Donations may be made in Daniel’s memory to the Franklin Savings Bank, 194 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine 04976 in Daniel L. Pomerleau Jr.’s name.
