

She was born July 25, 1937 in Hartland, Maine, the daughter of the late Alton M. Littlefield and Helen M. (Ham) Littlefield.
She attended and graduated from Hartland Academy in the class of 1955, she also graduated from Skowhegan Business School in 1957.
Eleanor worked for Hall Fuel Company in Athens for many years. She then worked at New Balance Shoe Company in Norridgewock and Skowhegan from 1990 until retiring in 1997.
She was a founding member of the A.C. Line Riders, a member of the Hand Bell Choir at the Grace Linn Methodist Church in Hartland. She loved to snowmobile and she also loved hunting and fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son Tracy Lawrence of Athens, her grandson Joshua Lawrence of Athens, three brothers; Edwin Littlefield and his wife Hazel of Hartland, Elwin Littlefield and his wife Christie of Hartland, Elmer Littlefield and his wife Beatrice of Hartland, two sisters; Ethelyn Bowman and her husband Philip of St. Albans, Esther Butler and her husband Darrell of St. Albans, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday October 2, 2011 at 2pm at the Skowhegan Federated Church, Island Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A private family burial will be held on Monday October 3, 2011 at the Black Stream Cemetery in Hartland, Maine.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
