

She was born April 15, 1930 in Cornville, Maine, the daughter of Raymond Merrill and Bernice (Goodrich) Green.
Eurline worked for many years at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in housekeeping. In her retirement, she loved to travel and eat out at restaurants. Her favorite pastime was reading and she always had a book, newspaper, or magazine close by. These last five years she spent doting on her puppy companion Buddy.
She is survived by her three sons, Raymond Perkins of Starks, Gerald Perkins and his wife Katherine of Cornville, Philip Perkins and his wife Louise of Oxford, and her daughter Sheila Fitzmaurice and her husband Tom of St. Albans; she has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father Raymond Merrill, her mother Bernice Green, her sister Margaret Ashton and a brother who died in infancy.
The family is thankful for the Meals on Wheels program that helped her remain independent and also for Maine General Hospice who made it possible for her to spend her last months comfortably at home.
Viewing hours will be held on Saturday February 20, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A funeral service will be held on Sunday February 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with pastor Leonard Reiss officiating.
