Lydia M. Gallant

She was born November 11, 1932 in Harmony, Maine; she was the daughter of Daniel and Grace (Hall) Downs.

She was the widow of William J. Gallant to whom she was married almost 57 years.

Lydia was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed, but, we will see her again in Heaven.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She also left behind four sisters and one brother.

She was a member of the Church of the Open Bible, 105 S. Main St., in Athens, since its inception, where her memorial service will be held on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Richard Haynie officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
