Marilyn F. Clark

1931-2014

Marilyn F. Clark, 83, of Canaan, passed peacefully April 28, 2014 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Born on April 28, 1931 in Melrose, MA, she was one of 5 children born to Robert and Daisy (Kimball) Pierce.

She was raised in MA and at the age of 19 she met Harold Clark Jr, the love of her life. They married 6 months later on Oct. 14, 1950. Harold and Marilyn began their life together in MA. In 1969 they moved to Maine. They were happily married for 49 years.

She loved animals, especially horses. Marilyn was a very religious person.

Marilyn was predeceased by both of her parents, her sister Roberta, 2 brothers, Frank and Leon, her daughter-in-law, Sharyl Clark and her beloved husband Harold in 1999.

She is survived by her 7 children, Harold Clark III and his partner Vicki Colson of Hartland, Roland

Clark and his wife Rejeanne of Skowhegan, Judy Brown and her husband Darrell of Skowhegan, Linda Holt and her husband Ronald of Canaan, Richard Clark and his finance Kim Fitzgerald of Canaan, Robert Clark and his partner Rhonda Plourde of Canaan, and Matthew Clark and his wife Chasity of Canaan, 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter with 2 more great grandchildren that will be arriving at a later date this year, and 1 brother, Robert Pierce of AZ.

Marilyn was greatly loved by her family and will be deeply missed.

A funeral will be held Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at 3:00PM at the Canaan Calvary Church in Canaan. Arrangements are under the care of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, ME.
