

Pamela was born October 8, 1959 in Hartland, Maine, the daughter of Leonel H. Turcotte and the late Edith M. (Bachelder) Turcotte.
She grew up in Cornville and graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in the Class of 1978. She attended Beal College and graduated with an associate’s degree in business.
She worked in banking for 25 years starting in Boarder Trust in Jackman and ending at Bangor Savings Bank in Skowhegan.
Pamela’s passion was crafting mostly cross-stitching and quilting and gardening, but her biggest love was for her family and friends.
Pamela is survived by her only child and her world Amanda Hunnewell and her fiancé Luke White of Cornville, her best friend and love of her life Mark LeBlanc of Skowhegan, stepson Tylor Leblanc, father Leonel Turcotte and his wife Lois of Cornville, her siblings; David Turcotte and his wife Nancy of Cornville, Susan Pelletier of Norridgewock, Patricia Kilton and her husband Gary of Durham, Mark Turcotte of Cornville, Caryl Estabrook and her husband Philip of Cornville, her nieces and nephews; Ashley and Benjamin Pelletier, Samantha and Adam Turcotte, Zachary and Corey Kilton, Cody and Devin Turcotte, each who were very special to her in their own way.
She was predeceased by her mother Edith Turcotte, maternal grandparents Kenneth and Margret Bachelder and paternal grandparents Adolphe and Dalphene Turcotte.
The family would also like to thank everyone at the Harold Alfond Cancer Center. You made her fell like every visit wasn’t for treatments but mostly to visit extended family. And a special thank you to Dr. Andrew Hertler for everything he did for us.
Viewing hours will be held on Sunday May 23, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday May 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church, Water Street, Skowhegan, Maine, with Father Manezzi officiating, burial to follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Skowhegan.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Smart & Edwards Funeral Home, 183 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Family of Strength Team for the Relay of Life for which Pam was the heart of - Relay of Life, 108 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, Maine 04976.
