She Married Henry G. Wilkerson on October 31, 1944 in New Orleans. She had four children. Her and her family moved to Florida in 1956 where they remained until moving back to Smithville Texas in 1976.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Stieler, Angeline O’Brien, Mildred Lantz, and brother Louis Sill. She had four children Mary Lou Calabrese, Michael G. Wilkerson, Mark Wilkerson and Henry G. Wilkerson Jr. There were 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Her Husband of 49 years passed away in 1994. She never remarried but was busy with family even after moving to the nursing home. She loved visits from family but would never want to burden anyone with her care.
Emily passed away on September 1, 2012 and will be missed greatly.
