Larry was a down home simple man. His heart was full of love and compassion. As a younger man he enjoyed making model cars and airplanes. He enjoyed watching Lost in space, Tarzan and Star Trek. It was a blessing to watch joy he received from interacting with his siblings. Holidays were very special to Larry especially Easter, Halloween, Christmas, and of course, his Birthday. Larry had a deep appreciation for all of life’s simple pleasures but his favorite was his coca-cola. He will be truly missed and his memory cherished.
Larry is survived by his loving parents, Ben Fleck, Sr. and Bridie Fleck of West Point, one brother, Ben Fleck, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Spring, two sisters, Connie Fleck of West Point, Carol Palvicek and her husband Larry of Engle, 2 nieces, 8 nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great-niece.
Visitation will be from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, Texas. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00pm with burial following at Byler Cemetery in Muldoon, Texas.
