Alice L Viereck

Alice L. Falk Viereck, age 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Evergreen Hospice Care. Alice was born June 14, 1927 in Maltby, Washington to Bob and Edith Smith. Alice was the last of nine children. Alice married Robert Falk on May 6, 1944 and had three children. After the passing of Robert, she married Clint Viereck on April 6, 1990 who later passed away. Alice loved her family. Her happy place was her home on Orcas Island where she spent time fishing, gardening and visiting with friends. Alice also loved baking her Christmas treats for family and friends.

Left to honor Alice and remember her love is Alice’s daughter, Alice Adele McDonald, two grandchildren; Jim (Diana) Searle and Laurel (Jim) Fenton, three great grandchildren; Ryan Schwindt, Lindsday Schwindt and Alex Searle. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, two husbands, daughter Susan Jarvi and son Paul Falk. The family would like to thank Evergreen Hospice Care for the loving care and support to Alice and the family. Alice will be placed with her loved ones in the Olga Doe Bay cemetery in the spring.
