Alpha Hammons

She is survived by her husband, Herb Hammons of 70 years; her sons, Kim W. Hammons (Sherri), H. Todd Hammons (Kathy); and daughter, Cindy Davis-Crerand (Ray); grandchildren, Britta, Cadi, Alan, Isak, Andrea, Amy, Jack, Jake, Nick, Alyssa, and Ashlyn; as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her two brothers, Bob (Eleanor) and Warren (Margie); and several nieces and nephews.

Alpha met the love of her life, Herb, at Snohomish High School and they were married, August 30, 1941. During her long life, she loved spending time with her family, enjoyed gardening, golfing and was a supporter of Snohomish Baseball and the Pilchuckers. Alpha will be remembered as truly a one of a kind with a strong feisty spirit and an amazing love for her family.

The Hammons family wants to give a special thank you to Alpha's caregivers, Shawndra, Terry, Gina and Adele.

A private family celebration of Alpha's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Snohomish Food Bank or The Farm Youth Ministries.
