

The Lord called Anthony James Goddard home on November 30, 2011. He passed away at home at the age of 20. Born in Everett, WA on July 26, 1991 Tony was a young man who touched many lives. His beautiful blue eyes, contagious smile and wonderful laugh was welcomed by all. He was a compassionate person and was always there to lend an ear. Tony's family and friends meant the world to him and he cherished any type of gathering that brought family and friends together.
Tony lived in Marysville, WA until age 12 and then moved to Snohomish, WA with his family. He attended Centennial Middle School and Snohomish High School and played many sports and was a talented athlete. After graduating from Snohomish High School in 2010, Tony attended Everett Community College and enjoyed his classes.
With a love of family, sports, leadership, friends, Nike shoes (Air Jordan), layering t-shirts in three and making nachos with lots of cheese and salsa, Tony had this charm that drew you to him. He enjoyed cars and he found working at Klein Honda in Everett, WA a rewarding and enjoyable environment.
Tony is survived by his mother and step-father, Lori and Kevin Weed; brothers, Matthew David Weed, Nolan Robert Goddard and Matthew Wesley Goddard, all of Snohomish, WA; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Armstrong of Marysville, WA, Mrs. Helen Klein of Lake Oswego, OR and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Arlene) Weed of Sequim, WA; and all of his uncles, aunts and cousins.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Matthew H. Goddard; and grandfather, John J. Klein.
Toners, Tony, Tonail, Gony, Bean, Boo, Bro, whatever you called him, remember he will be shinning bright watching over you and smiling down making sure you are comforted. You will always bring us great joy Tony, and the memories that you have left behind will be cherished.
Tony, you are home now and peaceful in the arms of our Lord and your father that you grieved so deeply for. You will truly be missed and we love you with all of our hearts – your family.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1512 Pine Avenue, Snohomish, WA with a reception to follow the service at the church. Internment will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Marysville Cemetery, in Marysville, WA.
